It’s a hard act to follow – the V 5780-4/20 NG6 compressor has now been in continuous operation for more than 10 years.
The plant was built in 2011 by our partner Schwelm Anlagentechnik and put into operation in 2012.
Both compressors run almost 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
They are only taken out of operation for maintenance, which has to take place once a year.
The compressors compress the biogas produced to network pressure for feeding into the natural gas network.
